GD- That's funny. Must have been a few strong Vodka tonics, and I need a few as well. My new job did not work out, as my conscience was uncomfortable telling lies and half-truths to make sales. I interviewed for a new job, and will hear back by the end of this week. If I don't get it, it looks as though I'll be in craps dealer school by Aug 1.

You don't think Vegas is for me? It would be a culture shock, but after meeting new people, I could probably like it. I don't know what other options I have, as far as having an enjoyable job. I worked in the corporate world long enough, and it sucks. The job I'm interviewing for would let me travel 95% of the time. I feel good about my chances of getting an offer. I will know by Friday.

Just going by your personal feelings and entries from your trip out here. It's not an easy town for anyone, believe me. I have my ups and downs continuously and consider myself above average (at least in my mind).

I understand, and I do remember how I felt when I was leaving town. I felt relieved to get home. But I do have to take into account the fact that I got sick and spent the last 3 days in my room. I also didn't have any contact with anyone other than strangers for two weeks. It felt good to get home and see some friends. The difference now is that I have already quit my job, and have nothing to lose.
